Zintle Mjali completed her under and postgraduate studies at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. Zintle spent 2002 at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University as a junior lecturer. She completed her articles with Brink Cohen Le Roux Incorporated, a boutique corporate law firm based in Houghton, Johannesburg. She continued with this firm and was admitted as an attorney in 2005. In 2006, Zintle joined Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr, a large full service corporate and commercial firm, based in Sandton, Johannesburg. Zintle was involved, as a consultant, in the panel discussions on the New Companies Act during the period 2003 ending 2006. She spent a year (September 2006 to September 2007) as a foreign associate in the mergers and acquisition department of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP (New York office), a leading international law firm, where she was involved in a variety of U.S. based and cross-border transactions representing acquirors, targets and financial advisors. On her return, she joined McPherson Kruger Attorneys, a niche commercial practice based in Melrose Arch. She is a founding partner of Fredericks & Mjali Inc. Zintle serves as non-executive director of Circuit Breaker Industries Limited, African Cables Proprietary Limited, Common Purpose (South Africa) NPC and John Deere (South Africa) Proprietary Limited.
