Yolande served as the Congress of South African Trade Unions’ Shop steward Magazine Manager and Trustee from August 1996, were she worked for ten years before joining Umbono Capital in 2006 as a business developer in charge of union clients. She became the Corporate Affairs Manager of JM BUSHA Investment Group a year later, a role she maintained for nine years. In March 2016, Yolande became Head of Marketing at Balondolozi. Since joining Balondolozi, she has been a part of the executive team. A year later, in 2017, she was promoted to director and at the beginning of 2022, Yolande took over as CEO.
