Sindisiwe holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com) in Accounting from the University of the Witwatersrand as well as a Financial Markets and Instruments NQF Level 6 certification. She joined Balondolozi Investment Services in 2021 as a Trainee Equities Analyst, where she contributed to economic research, quantitative modelling, and the interpretation of technical, fundamental, and behavioural equity charts to identify market trends and investment opportunities. She also supported the ESG team through research analysis. In March 2022, she transitioned to the Fixed Income investment team as a Trainee Portfolio Manager where she was responsible for the Inflation linked bond under supervision of the CIO. In her current role as Fixed Income Portfolio Manager, Sindisiwe supports the management of active bond funds and inflation- linked funds under the supervision of the Chief Investment Officer. Her responsibilities include conducting macro and credit market analysis, running valuations and risk models, generating trade ideas, portfolio construction, monitoring mandate compliance, and preparing portfolio reports. Sindisiwe intends to further her professional development and is currently a candidate for CFA level I.
