Mpilo completed her Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Econometrics at the University of Johannesburg in 2023, where her interest in investment management was first cultivated. In April 2024, she joined Balondolozi Investment Services as a Trainee Equity Analyst. In this capacity, she is responsible for conducting economic research and analysing both fundamental and behavioural equity data to identify market trends and potential investment opportunities.

Her role also involves assessing the sustainability and ethical practices of companies to support informed and responsible investment decisions. Mpilo recently completed a short course in Equity Analysis, further strengthening her technical foundation and enhancing her ability to evaluate market dynamics and company fundamentals. She remains committed to continuous professional development and intends to further her studies as she builds a meaningful and impactful career within the investment research space.
