Magcino holds a BCom in Economics and Econometrics and a BCom (Hons) in Investment Management from the University of Johannesburg and plans to pursue a master’s degree in Investment Management in the future. Magcino joined Balondolozi in June 2024 as an intern and was permanently appointed in June 2025 as a Fixed Income Investment Analyst.

In her role, she supports the Fixed Income team by conducting economic research, running quantitative models, and interpreting fixed income charts. She also contributes to the team’s credit research and credit analysis activities. During her tenure, she has completed her Regulatory Examination (RE) competency assessment and Class of Business training and is registered as a representative under supervision with the FSCA.
