Itumeleng holds an undergraduate degree Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and International Trade, and a postgraduate degree Honours Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Risk Management, from North West University.
Upon completion of his undergraduate, as of 2013 after graduation Itumeleng worked as a financial planner at Sanlam from November 2013 till January 2015. In February 2015 he went back to University (North West University) to complete his post graduate degree Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Risk Management. Itumeleng conducted his Honours research, in “How the volatility of real interest rates and real exchange rates affect share returns from various sectors”.
Whilst completing his Honours degree, from August 2015. Itumeleng joined Balondolozi Investment Services as trainee Money Market portfolio manager, whereby he conducts economic research , run quantitative models on money pricing/spreads, fund reporting, cash sweeping and transaction (buying and Selling) of money market instruments and related derivatives. In 2016 he graduated from North West University, received his post graduate degree with a distinction for his Honours research (mini-dissertation), the Honours project was eventually printed by the University as one of their annual articles. Currently Itumeleng is furthering his education in the CFA course.
